First Officer, Wesley Tucker

Nationality – South African

Wesley was born in Ballito on the east coast of South Africa. From a young age, has always had a passion for the ocean such as surfing, lifesaving, fishing and scuba diving, with this passion, he decided to make a career in Motor Yachts.
Wesley joined yachting in 2011 and has worked on yachts ranging in size from forty-five to seventy meters while completing his Chief Mate 3000gt. Being an avid scuba diver he gained his Dive Masters in 2008 and has vast experience with over 2500 dives for shore based companies and on yachts.
Wesley also coached children’s sports between the ages of four and twelve years old, this has given Wesley a thorough understanding of children. In his spare time, you can find Wesley spending time with his wife, family, surfing, fishing, scuba diving and furthering his travels.

Chief Engineer, Quintin James

Nationality – South African

Quintin’s love for engineering was evident at young age and has always been fascinated with how the wheel turns. As a young boy growing up he spent his time in the garage learning the fundamentals from his father and by an early age could see what the future held. A three-week trip to Fort Lauderdale in 2004 introduced Quintin to the yachting industry and he has been hooked ever since. In the years to come he returned to the US and in 2010 he made the transition from a land based engineer to yacht crew and hasn’t looked back.
In his spare time Quintin loves nothing more than spending quality time with his family and friends. His interests include extreme sports, Crossfit and enjoying everything this great world has to offer.

Chief Stewardess, Mary Hensman

Nationality – Zimbawaen

Mary originally comes from a small farm in Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe where weekends were spent on the farm camping, skiing on their dam, playing polo and spending time with their elephant. On completing her degree, a Bachelor of Fine Art from Rhodes University in South Africa, she wanted to explore the hospitality industry and spent a year in Kenya following the wildebeest migration on horseback after which she got her maritime qualifications.
Since then Mary has worked on various private/charter yachts in the Mediterranean, Maldives and the Caribbean, showing she is enthusiastic about furthering her knowledge and skills in the hospitality industry. Mary would like to one-day return to Africa and have a lodge of her own offering retreats to a similar 5 star standard, following her passion for conservation and wildlife protection.


Chef, Thibaut De Larquier

Nationality – French

Thibaut grew up in the South West of France in the Cognac region, where his family owns a beautiful vineyard that produces wine and cognac; this is where he developed his passion for cooking. After training from the age of 14 at the Culinary School he started his career working various hotels in France and around the world.  Soon enough his love for the sea and travelling drove him to cooking aboard luxury cruise ships and luckily for us in more recent times yachts such as M/Y Pure One M/Y Turquoise and M/Y Vantage

Thibaut is a great asset to the crew and will be able to keep your appetite satisfied during your stay onboard.

Bosun, Tom Sugden

Nationality – New Zealand

Tom was born in Auckland, New Zealand into a yachting family and spent his child hood sailing the Hauraki Gulf, rowing and playing football. After graduating school, he helped redesign bars and restaurants and attended Auckland University studying law. Taking a chance to use his sailing knowledge and his love for travel, Tom ventured to France where he secured his first yachting job. He has been working his way up through the industry since then working on a variety of charter yachts including Va Bene, Invictus, Hetairos and New Vogue. He is a keen water sports instructor and is here to help you learn some new skills and enjoy your trip of a lifetime. When not working, Tom enjoys travel, sailing, drawing and spending time with family.

Stewardess, Stewardess Hannah Dykstra

Nationality – New Zealand

Hannah was born in Palmerston North, New Zealand where she was raised and studied her Bachelor of Nursing degree. She worked in Palmerston North Hospital as a nurse for three and a half years in the recovery room. Hannah has always had a passion for travelling and discovering the world which is why she chose nursing as her career pathway due to its vast opportunities internationally. She is very excited be working as a nurse stewardess on Vantage and will strive to maintain an enjoyable environment for both her guests and fellow crew.
Hannah is a great lover of the outdoors and enjoys gym classes, going for walks, and experiencing new cultures.
